Good Threads specializes in custom hand-embroidered needlepoint belts!

Whether it be your company logo or your own creation, Good Threads can make a custom needlepoint belt design just for you. 

The way it works is that, following your purchase, we will reach out to you via email to gather designs descriptions and any images you want to provide. We ask that you avoid sending photos, only graphic images.

We will then send you a computer mockup of your design and you will have endless opportunity to provide feedback until you are 100% satisfied with the layout.

A $50 design fee is non-refundable should you cancel your order after the design process has started.

Note: Designs that are more complex than our standard custom belts (such as full city-scapes) might be subject to a surcharge. Please contact us to discuss in detail.

Timeframe:  Please allow 6-8 weeks for your custom belt once you approve your design.

Note:  Please know that occasionally issues arise that are out of our control, such as civil unrest in Haiti or problems with customs, that can result in a delay of your shipment. We will do our best to communicate these issues with you when they arise.

For every hand-embroidered belt sold, Good Threads donates enough money for 2 weeks of food for a child at the Joan Rose Foundation.

The Joan Rose Foundation, located in Jacmel, Haiti, provides over 75 children with education, food, clothing, medical care, and most importantly, love and support.

All of our needlepoint belts at Good Threads are hand stitched by parents of the Joan Rose Foundation and others in the Haitian community. Good Threads provides stable employment, a good wage, and the ability for our employees to work from their home. All of this translates to happier and healthier children and families.

Sizing

Men: We recommend adding 2 inches to your pant size to obtain the best Good Threads needlepoint belt size. For example, a man who wears a 34 pant would wear a size 36 belt. If you have an odd pant size then round up, so a size 33 pant will wear a size 36 belt.

Women: Sizing can vary as women generally wear belts on their hips, not on their waist. It is best to measure an existing belt you have. Measure a belt by measuring from the point that the leather meets the buckle to the middle hole of the tongue. This will be your needlepoint belt size.
